What is included in the price?

All heating and electric / gas. All bed linen and a set of towels per person. A tea towel and oven cloth, j-cloth and scourer are provided. There is also a complimentary toilet roll, kitchen roll and hand soap.


How do we get the keys?

The keys for the cottages are in a key safe by the front door. The key code is sent with the confirmation letter on receipt of the final balance. We recommend that during your stay you put the keys in the key safe when you are out of the cottage, to avoid the risk of the keys being lost or mislaid.


Can we unload and reload outside the cottages when we arrive and depart?

Yes! This is a big plus, not all rental cottages are accessible by car to the front door. Both No. 8 and No. 11 are! You can pull up directly outside, even at busy times… if someone pulls up behind you don’t worry everyone understands and normally are patient, just be as quick as you can in these circumstances.


Where can we park?

With all popular seaside destinations, parking is always at a premium in the height of the peak holiday periods, whether its Summer holidays, Easter, Half Term or New Year. St Ives is no different, but be patient, you will get a space! The nearest long stay car park is the island, directions of which from the cottage are included on your information sheet with your confirmation letter when your balance is paid. What time can we get into the cottage and what time must we vacate on our departure date?

Arrivals at 3pm, please do not ask for early access as the cleaning team do need up until this time to ensure the cottage is in readiness for your arrival. On the day of leaving the departure time is 10am. Always a tall order when you have been chilling for a week (or more!) But this is the official time, and it is important to adhere to it in order that the cottage can be prepared for the next guests. If the cleaning team are delayed additional costs may be incurred.

Is there WIFI in the cottages?

Yes, all cottages do have free Wifi


At what point do we get our security deposit refunded?

The security deposit will be returned in full within ten working days, providing there has been no breach of our terms and conditions.
